       There are two ways for high-pressure water jet in front of the abrasive tank. One way goes through the conditioning valve to enter the abrasive tank, which is initially mixed with the abrasive in the tank to form a fluidization state, and then goes through the stop valve to enter the mixing chamber. According to the manufacturer of high-pressure water jet cutting machine, the other way goes directly into the mixing chamber to stop mixing with the abrasive fluid flowing out of the tank, forming a liquid-solid two-phase flow. In this way, the mixing effect of abrasive and water medium is enhanced, and the abrasive particles are fully accelerated in the water medium, so the abrasive particles have high kinetic energy.

  However, the calculation of the use cost of these accessories also depends on the actual situation. For example, our company's customers reflect that the use time of water jet cutting gems varies, sometimes the use time is very long, sometimes it is very short. The fastest cutting tool is damaged in 3 hours, while some water knives need to be replaced in 30 hours. According to our experience, it may be related to the following points.
  1. It can easily cut stainless steel plate or hard marble, granite, etc. it is an ideal or unique processing method for those materials that are difficult to cut by other methods, such as aramid, titanium alloy and other composite materials;

  2. There is no crack when cutting, it can cut data with narrow gap. Generally speaking, the incision of pure water cutting is about 0.1 mm to 1.1 mm, and that of sand cutting is about 0.8 mm to 1.8 mm. With the expansion of the inner diameter of the sand nozzle, the larger the incision is;

  3. It can cut in all directions, including various shapes, angles or gradients;

  4. There is no need to stop the secondary processing such as edge grinding. In the cutting process, it can also reduce the flying dust and improve the working environment.
